We are currently looking for a Technical Lead to join one of Australia’s leading banks in a permanent role. As a hands-on Lead Engineer, you’ll use your skills in building, designing, maintaining, and testing, for the development of their technology used by the Consumer Finance technology team. You will also engage with various stakeholders and become an expert in your domain whilst supporting the broader engineering community. 
 
They are looking for candidates based in Sydney and offer flexible hybrid working. They are offering attractive salary packages up to $180k+ Super with bonuses as well as other benefits.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Hands-on Lead Engineer who can mentor, guide, and assist a team to provide high-quality application services to critical investment banking applications. 
  • Write clean, modular, maintainable code using modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries. 
  • Understanding of end-to-end application performance and optimization techniques and tools. 
  • Implement responsive designs with reusable and scalable UI components. 
  • Collaborate with service owners to understand the requirements and translate them into technical user stories. 
  • Design and develop user interfaces for customer-facing applications 
What do I need?
  • Excellent analysis and design skills with technical problem-solving 
  • CI/CD tools i.e. Bit, bitbucket, Jenkins or bamboo. 
  • React JS, Redux, Node JS. 
  • Restful API design principles and standards 
  • API security and authentication mechanisms(OAuth, JWT) 
  • Spring Boot and Restful API
