This, newly created, Project Snr Audit & Risk Manager position will focus on the Audit and Assurance of Technology and some Business projects/programs within large and complex  Government agencies. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-regarded brand that has shown significant growth in recent years. This prominent business is undergoing major growth and are supporting clients in their digital & cyber transformation and automation which makes this an interesting environment with exciting projects and programs over the next few years. You will enjoy engaging with stakeholders across various areas of the business and will enjoy dealing with individuals at all levels.
 
NOTE - Strong background in Audit/Assurance and Project Audit/Assurance experience required. If you are currently working as a Project or Program specialist, you would have gained previous experience in Audit, Risk or Assurance tasks.

NOTE – You will need to be an Australian Citizen with full work rights and will need to reside in Canberra (ACT).
 
Focus:
Lead and support audit & risk planning / identify program, and project delivery risks and controls / understand the strategic program and project path to delivery.
Identify and test the delivery or delivered risk and controls / continuously monitor developments, activities and emerging risks of the project.
Project audit and risk assessments across business and technology programs.
Proven skills in leading staff.

The ideal candidate:
Degree qualified or part qualified CA / ACCA / CPA / CIA or CISA or other.
Experience in Delivered or Delivery Risk.
Current / past exposure to methodologies such as AGILE / Waterfall / Scrum / Prince2 / PmBok / PMP / ISO or other.
Experience gained in Government / Industry / Financial Services or the Profession will be considered.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Prior experience performing large project audits/assurance in a complex environment required.
