Senior Solution Architect - Applications

As part of a major initiative to refresh and realign the application environment across a large enterprise organisation, we're looking to engage a Snr Solution Architect to take up a key role and help provide and approve the application solution architecture, as well as integrate industry leading enterprise solutions into the organisation. 
The role partners with a newly established program team, where you will support the Program Director and Lead Architect to ensure effective delivery of enterprise wide technology solutions, which will initially focus on the set-up and integration of COTS, SaaS, PaaS solutions and bespoke applications.

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide input to the strategic direction of technology investments to assist in the development of the solution architecture and maximise the return on technology investment

• Drive architecture deliverables based on project timeframes

• Translate business and technical requirements into a solution blueprint that outlines enterprise services integrated across applications, systems and platforms teams to achieve objectives

• Document current and future state architectures

• Provide leadership and guidance in the subject of Application Architecture and Integration (Services and API Management).

• Responsible for ensuring appropriate security and privacy measures are implemented on all solutions

What we're looking for:

• Demonstrable previous experience developing solutions architecture, business and systems requirements, and technical design and analysis.

• Analysis and knowledge of Solution Architecture development, information and technology architecture concepts, including experience in applications development, infrastructure architecture, Cloud and IT operations.

• Exposure to working in an Agile / Scrum environment desirable.

• Experience and knowledge of industry standard development methodologies, tools, and techniques.

• Experience developing solutions that interface with Enterprise Solutions such as Salesforce / Service Now.

• Experience in complex application integration approaches using products such as MuleSoft, IIB, EntireX and MQ.

• Relevant Tertiary qualification in Computer Science / Information Technology
