This first line Senior Risk Manager position has broad responsibilities including:
  • Lead the implementation and management of risk management and monitoring obligations within the lending value chain.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to embed a mature risk management culture, ensuring ongoing monitoring and support development of pathways for identified control gaps and weaknesses.
  • Contribute to ensuring divisional and business operations align with frameworks, policies, risk strategy, and regulatory obligations.
  • Provide specialist advice regarding risk management, compliance obligations, and controls for 'run' and 'change' initiatives within the lending value chain.
  • Drive proactive plans to address any gaps in coverage and obligations processes and compliance matters.
  • Coach and support the business to build greater risk awareness and capability within the lending value chain.
If you ae an experienced risk professional with:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience in risk management within a financial institution, with a focus on lending.
  • Strong understanding of risk culture, regulatory obligations, and risk management frameworks.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and drive change.
  • Proven leadership and coaching abilities to build greater risk awareness and capability within the team.
