We are currently looking for a Senior Python Developer to join our global financial services client as they look to build a new centralised AI program.

This is a newly created role joining a team of technical, change and delivery professionals, passionate about solving business problems and driving opportunities through innovation with a focus on emerging AI and generative AI.

You will take ownership of backend services from inception to release; this includes gathering technical requirements, solution design & architecture, implementation & automated testing of Python applications

The role is open to those based in Sydney and offers a great team culture and flexible hybrid options.

Responsibilities;
  • Communicating and collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Develop containerised Python applications including APIs and data integrations to enable software and machine learning solutions
  • Build the data models and analytics-ready datasets to support data science and the data product development processes


Skills required;
  • Experience in Python programming
  • Experience building API’s
  • Experience delivering cloud-based solutions on GCP or AWS
  • DevOps Exposure
  • Creative problem solving, thinking outside the box
