I would be very interested in having a discussion if you come from an actuarial background - preference to those that have worked within general insurance and have had some kind of experience with SAS, GLM and R. This role will suit someone who wants to develop their career in an environment that will challenge you technically.
I would be very interested in having a discussion with you if you come from a financial services backgrounds (Banking/Insurance/Super) and have either a line 1 or audit risk controls background. This role would also suit someone from professional services who wants to move into a risk controls environment within banking. Role Responsibilities
Manage the approach to recognise, anticipate and resolve pricing problems across the Business Unit.
Utilise the technical pricing models developed by Analytics to drive pricing outcomes overlaying elasticity models and competitor price movements.
Responsible for managing the book pricing for the various portfolios, responding to market and competitor movements in an agile and responsive manner
Contribute valuable insights into the strategic portfolio planning discussions and actively support the execution of pricing strategies
Role Requirements
Relevant undergraduate degree or post-graduate qualification in Actuarial, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
2+ years of experience within actuarial science
Knowledge and experience using tools such as SAS, SQL, Radar, Tableau, Cognos, etc
Excellent written communication skills
Curiosity and inquisitive nature
