High‑Growth Non‑Bank Lender
$150K plus Super and Bonus

Our client is a fast‑growing non‑bank lender with a strong and diverse mortgage offering across residential and commercial segments. With continued expansion and a commitment to high‑quality credit outcomes, they are seeking an experienced Senior Credit Analyst to join their credit team in Sydney.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys complex credit assessment, and wants to contribute to capability uplift and process improvement across the credit function.

About the Role
As a Senior Credit Analyst, you will assess and decision loan applications across a broad portfolio, applying strong analytical judgement and ensuring alignment with credit policy and risk appetite. You’ll manage a busy pipeline, work closely with brokers and internal teams, and play a key role in delivering a seamless customer experience from application through to approval.
You will also act as a technical leader—supporting junior analysts, promoting consistency in decisioning, and contributing to a collaborative, high‑performance culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and decision loan applications in line with credit policy and risk frameworks
  • Manage a pipeline of applications and deliver timely, high‑quality decisions
  • Apply strong analytical judgement to complex borrower scenarios
  • Ensure compliance with NCCP, Responsible Lending, AML/CTF and internal risk standards
  • Communicate credit decisions clearly to brokers and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Sales, Credit Support, Settlements and Collections to resolve scenarios
  • Provide coaching and guidance to junior and mid‑level analysts
  • Contribute to process improvement and capability uplift across the credit team
About You
  • 5–10 years’ experience in financial services, ideally in mortgage lending within a non‑bank or specialist environment
  • Strong technical capability in credit assessment and financial analysis
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills and strong stakeholder engagement
  • High attention to detail and strong risk judgement
  • Collaborative, proactive and comfortable challenging the status quo
  • Confident using digital systems and adaptable to new tools
