An exciting opportunity has opened up at a prominent Big 4 bank. I am seeking a high performing individual to take ownership for the delivery of all regulatory reporting requirements as well as partnering with the business to provide meaningful financial insights and analysis.      

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Review balance sheet and statistical deliverables due to external regulators including; APRA RBA and ABS.
  • Responsible for ensuring successful transition of new regulatory returns to business as usual processes
  • Identify and implement opportunities for automation and process improvement
  • Interpretation of AIFRS and development of accounting policies for the group 
  • Collaborate, engage with and nurture working relationships with senior level stakeholders across the group
Key background requirements include:
  • CA / CPA part or newly qualified with a minimum of 3 years experience
  • Prior experience in a Financial Accountant or Regulatory Reporting role in the Banking / Financial Services sector
  • A background in a Big 4 Chartered Accounting firm working with Financial Services clients
  • Previous experience and knowledge of regulatory reporting (APRA, RBA and ABS) viewed favourably
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards and accounting principles
  • The ability to work effectively in a results driven environment coupled with a flair for identifying weaknesses and driving process change and automation.
