Role Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the fastest growing foreign banks in Australia with total assets ranked in the world's Top 20 banks.

We're looking for Commercial / Corporate Banking professionals with 3-5 years of relationship management (or credit) experience. This position requires a self-motivated candidate with high energy and passionate in Corporate Banking.

In this role you will: 
  • Proactively identify new opportunities for Corporate & Institutional Banking customers (syndicated & bi-lateral loans). 
  • Write credit proposals for new exposure as well as additional facilities for existing clients.
  • Carry out necessary due diligence process on clients and complete KYC requirements before drawdown.
  • Comply with local controls and regulations, including money laundering guidelines in the prevention of fraud, forgeries and losses. 
  • Study the characteristics of different sectors and be able to comprehend early signs of volatility in order to make appropriate recommendations to the Head of Department.
  • Work with the Credit Risk team to minimise credit risk by spotting signs of possible default, investigate causes of concern and recommend measures of remedy.

Skills, Experience & Knowledge Required:
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in Australia in a similar capacity.
  • Broad knowledge of different industries  / sectors, with proven marketing skills.
  • Strong skills of credit analysis, research, financial modelling and proposal writing skills.
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent in Business, Economics, Finance, Law or relevant discipline.
  • Excellent communicator (in both Mandarin Chinese & English) with good interpersonal and negotiation skills.
