Our client, a leading NSW Government Department are looking for a Project Manager to Support the Asset Strategy and Investment  team by managing services information for the various branches of the Organisation.
 
This role also assists in formulating and developing Operational and Capital Plans for various operational branches of the Organisation to ensure they deliver their optimum benefit and meet the customers outcomes.
 
Key deliverables
  • Report and coordinate the maintenance budget and committed contracts for service functions to ensure business outcomes are delivered for the concerned branches.
  • Analyse performance trends from various service functions and verify the investment effectiveness
  • Participate, in collaboration with various branches, in the development of long term asset and services plans and manage the development of a long term maintenance funding strategy
  • Assist review of Briefing Notes, Sponsors Briefs, Business Cases and other business approvals
  • Monitor improvements in the measurement and understanding of services risks using tools such as ERM
 
Essential Skills / Requirements 
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or equivalent related engineering discipline
  • In depth knowledge, understanding and application of asset management and planning processes related to rail infrastructure, operations.
  • Proven experience in managing complex projects and Project Management skills.
