Join a newly created role within a major general insurer and work in a high perfomring culture focused in delivering innovation, growth and development.
  
Reporting to Executive Manager, you will:

  • Strategic Pricing Work: Develop and lead the strategy to deliver best in market pricing and fraud capability
  • People Leadership - Grow and lead a talented pricing team 
  • Work with the Product, P&L, and growth teams to make sure our pricing and U/W complement our growth strategy whilst ensuring we protect loss ratio and long-term profitability
  • Partner with the Product team ensuring that PDS aligns to our product vision for customers
  • Set up framework to manage the product disclosure statements including updates and rewrites, ensure compliance with laws and regulation

About yourself: 
  • Tertiary education - preferably from an actuarial or statistics background
  • 7+ years of experience preferably within general insurance pricing - short tail portfolio
  • Experience leading a Pricing Team, setting the strategy and prioritising activity
  • Strong technical and analytical skills including usage of GBM/GLM 
  • Ability to present technical inforation to non-technical stakeholders
