I am recruiting a line 1 risk professional that will support projects across Product, Process and Operations teams within Consumer Lending. You will work closely with the stakeholders on these projects building close relationships providing advice and challenge around operational risk and compliance activities.

Any experience with Project Risk around data/technology would be highly valuable as this business upgrade the core banking platform.

Role Responsibilities
  • Use and embed Risk Frameworks/Risk Profiles within Consumer Lending, working with the respective Executive Managers - Risk Profiling, Compliance Plans, Regulatory Change items
  • Provide Risk & Compliance oversight across Consumer Lending teams - understanding Risk & compliance requirements, review Risk Assessments, support implementation of change across teams, liaise with stakeholders re changes to controls
  • Educate and improving risk maturity of the Consumer Lending Teams
  • Incident Management oversight & trend analysis
  • Preparation of appropriate Risk & Compliance related reporting and papers
Role Requirements
  • 5+ years’ experience in risk/compliance advice or related field in Financial Services industry
  • Experience in building successful customer relationships
  • Banking professional and/or institutional knowledge pertaining to the finance industry or lending in Australia preferred.
