Due to a recent incorporation to a USA parent this well renown Commercial Brand is seeking to appoint a Snr IT SOX & Assurance Manager. You will be part of the overall Group Audit function and be instrumental in bedding down the SOX framework from a technology perspective – initially starting in the Finance division (finance systems etc.). The will be a stand alone position and will allow a huge amount of autonomy and exposure dealing with Executive level stake holders.
 
Additional duties are:
  • Provide oversight of the implementation of SOX frameworks and policy
  • Provide oversight and challenge of the identification, assessment and monitoring of all IT governance practices
  • Participate in audits of information technology systems / programs / projects / key processes
  • Ensure IT SOX procedures, policies and frameworks are fit for purpose

 
The key requirements are:

  • A demonstrated understanding of IT SOX / IT Audit or Technology Governance work;
  • Experience in either IT SOX / IT Audit or IT Risk (with SOX exp. in past) or JSOX is essential;
  • Qualifications: CPA / CA / CISA / ISO or SSAE 16/SSAE 18 will be highly regarded;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong commercial acumen, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
