Responsibilities:
  • Review bank wide policies and procedures and detecting risk management and operational procedures’ weaknesses.
  • Analyses of policy and procedures’ weaknesses and provide suggestions for improvements.
  • In depth understanding policy and procedures implementations within the branch and detecting weaknesses of these implementation from stakeholders.
  • Following up internal audit findings and remedies
  • Reporting to Management and Risk Committees for findings and post-audit remediation’s progress.
  • Ensuring that the operation of the branch complies with laws and other regulatory provisions.
  • Liaising with Head Office Internal Audit Bureau and assist external auditors in their audit of the branch
The successful candidate will need:
  • Reasonable understanding of whole sale banking business operations; or Work experience in delivering a risk internal audit methodology, or similar experience, such as external audit or risk.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in wholesale Banking is desirable.
  • Understanding APRA, Austrac, ASIC and other Authorities rules and standards and capable of following updates and implementation.
  • Skills of internal auditing procedures, requirements and reports writing.
  • Strong communication and audit project management skills.
  • Mandarin speaking and Chinese writing skills preferred.
THIS IS A PERMANENT POSITION WITH THE SAME BENEFITS AS A PERMANENT EMPLOYEE BUT THEY ONLY HIRE ON A 12 MONTH FTC BASIS.
