Our client has an opportunity for a Senior Finance Analyst to join the Retirement Assets. They will be reporting to the Finance Manager for Retirement Assets and responsible for the accounting and reporting of the Retirement Asset financials.

Deliverables;
  • Month-end report preparation
  • Preparation of Quarterly Dashboard accounts for distribution to Resident Committees as required
  • Preparation of Villages annual financial statements
  • Preparation and collation of documentation to support annual audit requirements
  • Deliver cost effective and high-quality service to residents
  • Build and foster professional relationships with all village staff and residents, as well as internal stakeholders
  • Provide information and advice in a timely manner
  • Support the Finance Manager in the presentation of annual budgets, audited financial statements and annual management meeting
  • Preparation of long-term forecasts and business plans, evaluating profitability and performance

Must have skills & experience;
  • 2-3 years experience as a Senior Finance Analyst
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and technical post-grad qualifications, CA/CPA qualified
  • Demonstrated experience in financial reporting, planning & analytics, or a related field
  • Experience in distilling financial information to be able to speak to an audience from a non-financial background
  • Double vaccinated + booster and have received, or be open to receiving, the flu shot

Candidate will be required to undergo a Police Check prior to commencing.

Assignment is full-time for 3 months (end date 30/09/2022) with the potential to be extended. Based in Sydney office. Minimum 3 days per week in the office.
