My client, an ASX listed financial services group, is seeking a skilled and proactive Finance Systems Manager to take ownership of their core finance applications and related operations. This is a pivotal role that acts as a bridge between finance, technology, security, vendors, and leadership—ensuring their financial systems are seamlessly integrated, reliable, and compliant.
Key Responsibilities: As the Finance Systems Manager, you will be responsible for:
Application Management
Leading the full lifecycle of finance applications, including planning, upgrades, patching, and security.
Serving as the primary liaison with application vendors and internal stakeholders.
Ensuring compliance with internal Technology and Security policies and governance.
Monitoring performance and providing technical support for finance systems.
Application Integration
Managing data flows and interfaces between satellite systems and core finance platforms.
Supporting Finance users with manual file uploads/downloads and resolving integration issues.
Finance Operations Support
Overseeing month-end processes including subledger-to-GL reconciliations and TM1 rollovers.
Maintaining the Chart of Accounts and training new finance team members.
Providing audit support and delivering performance reporting.
Experience requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience managing finance or enterprise systems, upgrades, and application lifecycles.
Previous experience in a similar senior finance systems role with demonstrated financial analysis, financial systems analysis and project management skills.
A strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and risk management.
Able to operate comfortably in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
