My client is a leading provider of banking and wealth products. They boast a diverse and high performance culture throughout the Australian business. Supporting key stakeholders you will assist with the delivery of timely, accurate and insightful management reporting, forecasting and budgeting.
Specific responsibilities include:
Maintain effective business analysis and advice to the business and other stakeholders in line with the Finance
Control Framework.
Provide commercial insights through analytical review of data and business drivers and performance
Actively challenge underlying business assumptions in financial forecasts and ensure lead indicators are owned and tracked by the Programs.
Produce of timely, accurate and insightful management reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, General Managers, and relevant business partners including drivers to senior management including detailed commentary and analysis and risks and opportunities.
Perform Financial modelling, forecasting and scenario analysis support
Perform analysis of the forecast, identifying, and managing risks and opportunities.
Produce ad-hoc financial information and analysis to meet customer requirements including understanding the relative performance and the impacts of the changing commercial and legislative landscape.
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate a number of the following attributes:
CA/CPA/CIMA qualified
Between 4 - 8 years experience working in a fast paced finance team
Ideally suited to a commercial minded Senior Financial Accountant, Senior Management Accountant or Finance Business Partner
Financial Services industry experience (preferred but not a must have)
Previous experience working in a Project Finance reporting role (nice to have)
Highly developed analytical skills with intermediate/advanced excel skills viewed favourably;
