My client is a leading insurer and is recruiting for a Controls Specialist to join their stable team.
 
Key responsibilities:
  • This role is a hands on controls testing position, it sits within Line 1 and you will be testing a mixture of technology controls (solid understanding of technology controls is integral).
  • Testing controls to comply with CPS 234 and other APRA standards.
  • Risk assurance.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
Key skills:
  • Must possess a positive attitude and be an excellent team player.
  • Experience in a role balanced between business stakeholders and a central technology service organisation.
  • Strong understanding of Technology / Operational controls.
  • Solid understanding of CPS 234.
  • Relevant degree or equivalent work experience in Information Technology or an equivalent engineering discipline.
  • Certifications, such as CISSP, CRISC, CISA, CIPP, CISM,  desirable but not required.
  • Detailed understanding of governance and risk management.
