Claims Consultant - Injury Liability

Our Client
We’re working with Australia’s Insurance leader as they look to grow their specialist team across Public Liability with the recruitment of a Claims Consultant. The Role
Reporting into the Claims Technical Lead for Public Liability, you’ll be responsible for working across the multiple brands to assist insured claimants with their public liability claims, varying from a slip and fall at a persons home to the more complex commercial liability claims. You’ll partner with Brokers and the lodgement team to better understand the claim, determine indemnity and whether the policy covers the incident. It’s a technical role where you’ll need to look deeply into the incident event with a fine toothed comb, understand who was at fault and finally whether they’re appropriately insured.

Your Experience
Public Liability experience is a must. We’re open to the level of this with a salary banding that ranges to reflect this, but understanding the product is key. We’d love to attract someone who had been working at an Insurer in claims, or a lawyer with experience in this space.
