Our client, a Government Department are looking for a Business Analyst to join their team in Sydney CBD.

The initial contract will be initially 6 months and you will be supporting the project manager to deliver cross functional business solutions.

Key accountabilities

  • Capture detailed business requirements from the business
  • Document “as is” and “to be” end to end business process
  • Support development of  training materials
  • Support development of key project documents, for example Solution Design Document
  • Provide analysis to resolve business problems
  • Support User acceptance planning and coordination, including development of UAT scripts and cases
  • Play an active part in all phases of the project life cycle - from design to deployment and post go-live support
Key knowledge and experience
  • 5+ years’ experience as a Project Business Analyst supporting both IT and Business Projects
  • Process mapping skills essential. Lean or Lean Six Sigma preferred
  • Proven experience in running requirements elicitation process, including facilitation of workshops
  • Demonstrate a strong customer service ethos
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated experience of designing and co-ordinating user acceptance testing
  • Experience of working with external vendors and distributed teams
  • Previous experience in IM or ERP projects a bonus
