As part of our Aggregate Risk team, you will have the opportunity to help us further develop our capabilities in an important and growing area, with demonstrable impact on risk appetite and strategy. This role will provide visibility and interaction with many global stakeholders, including all the operating businesses, Risk Management, Group Treasury, Finance, and Macquarie’s senior management.

As a key member of the team, you will:
  • Identify and design business requirements for enhancements to systems and processes
  • Work with Subject Matter Experts to propose detailed designs of solutions that meet business requirements while identifying, communicating and managing implementation risks
  • Document the current and future states of existing systems and processes to identify and recommend improvements, verification and validation
  • Influence, engage and maintain relationships with a wide stakeholder group to understand and communicate business requirements and implement new solutions
  • Proactively drive critical projects from inception through to implementation to achieve quality outcomes in line with cost and schedule expectations
We want to hear from you if you have:
  • End to end project experience improving financial risk processes and systems.
  • Enjoy requirement analysis, documentation and business case preparation from high level down to detailed implementation level and supporting through to production launch.
  • Ideally 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • The ability and desire to solve bespoke problems whilst demonstrating a curiosity for understanding complexity and how things work
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to synthesise and communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
  • Curiosity about the risks that large organisations face, financial strength, and scenario analysis.
