You’ll be part of a high-performing Banking Platform team working across Digital, Lender, and Broker channels - building scalable backend systems that drive customer value and innovation.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop and test backend software solutions for lending and originations platforms
  • Become a backend OBP Engineer delivering high-quality code in an Agile environment
  • Collaborate with senior engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions
  • Write and maintain clear technical documentation (flowcharts, diagrams, and code comments)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues using tools such as SQL Developer and Splunk
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in backend software development
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and Microservices architecture
  • Basic understanding of Oracle databases and SQL
  • Exposure to SOAP, XML, JSON and modern integration concepts
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins advantageous)
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, proactive approach
 
Desirable
  • Experience with test automation frameworks (Jest, Cypress, etc.)
  • Knowledge of AWS / GCP / Azure.
  • Background in large-scale transformation programs
