We have an exciting opportunity for an Automation Test Analyst to join a global organisation based out in Macquarie Park on a for an initial 12 month Fixed Term Contract. You will be joining a team of 5 Test Analysts and will be doing a mixture of Automation and Manuel Testing.
You will be working closely with the IT Development and Operations Team as well as internal stakeholders on a daily basis.
The role will involve a mixture of working from home and in the office 2-3 days a week (as it stands currently).

Current Responsibilities include:
  • Responsible for the Quality Assurance and testing of new and existing applications across assigned BAU and other projects as follows
  • Assist with creation and maintenance of effective automated testing scripts.
  • Responsible for test completion end to end
  • Involvement in creating and maintaining Test Plans, Test Scenarios, Test Scripts based on business Requirements, - Use cases and Functional Specifications in consultation.
  • Contribute to various stages of testing – System Test, SIT, UAT, Regression, Performance, Post Verification Testing to provide quality assurance and testing of new and existing solutions
  • Manage defect lifecycle – defect triage, retest and defect reporting using JIRA
  • Review test plans for change requests made by IT and make recommendations to improve testing where necessary.
  • Own and create traceability matrix and test cases using JIRA/Zephyr/Confluence
  • Co-ordinate releases into the test environments with the development teams
  • Actively seek to understand industry developments in testing products and approaches.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • 4+ years’ experience with test automation using Selenium Webdriver, Java, Jenkins
  • End to end life cycle experience – SIT, UAT, Regression, Post Verification Testing
  • Solid experience with writing Test Plans, Test Cases, and Reporting
  • Basic knowledge of Winium and Appium (desirable)
  • Experience maintaining testing frameworks
  • Experience with Performance, Load, Scalability and Stress testing of applications using JMeter.
  • A basic understanding of Object-oriented Programming
  • Experience in API testing (Hands on experience with JIRA, Confluence, Relevant experience in testing third party applications) 
  • Good communication skills
  • Graduate qualification or demonstrated equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, Programming or related qualification.
  • Ability to manage stakeholder expectations from across the business functions
Desirable Skills include:
  • Prior experience or knowledge in testing Microsoft Office application add-ins for Word, PowerPoint
  • Prior experience of Datawarehouse testing.
