We have a brilliant opportunity for an Auditor to join a well-respected consultancy offering personalised services across a range of industries namely Financial Services, Environment/Sustainability & Public Sector.
 
Duties:
  • Responsible for internal audit (80%) and risk advisory engagements (20%) simultaneously with numerous engagement team members per audit, including planning and execution.
  • Solid understanding and experience in the application of internal audit standards including the IIA International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF) and Australian Standards on Assurance Engagements (ASAE).
  • Maintain strong budgetary discipline ensuring there are no major over runs.
  • Ability to plan effective and realistic budgets.
  • Preparation, maintenance, review and assessment of electronic working papers and the representation of these within the reporting deliverables to the client.
Your background:  
  • Professional qualifications by way of a degree, business or commerce.
  • Completed a CA qualification or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills required given the stakeholder management and need to assist in presenting findings to the board and ARC.
  • 4 years internal audit or risk advisory experience preferably within professional services.
  • Previous experience managing a team would be advantageous but not a necessity.
