Are you a senior audit professional ready to lead and inspire in a rapidly evolving financial services environment? We’re seeking a dynamic and strategically minded Director of Internal Audit to join our leadership team, with a dedicated focus on auditing in the Financial Services Sector.

This is a high-impact position offering the opportunity to work at the forefront of audit and assurance, ensuring governance, risk management, and control processes are operating effectively and aligned with regulatory expectations.

About the Position
As the Internal Audit Director, you will:
- Lead the internal audit strategy for the business, working closely with an inspirational CAE.
- Provide independent and objective assurance to the Audit & Risk Committee and Executive Leadership.
- Oversee a team of experienced auditors and manage the delivery of complex, risk-based audits.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to drive a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement.
- Stay ahead of regulatory changes (e.g. APRA, ASIC), ensuring audit focus remains aligned with industry developments and risks.

About You
You are a seasoned audit leader with a strong background in financial services.
Proven experience in a senior internal audit role (current or past), ideally at a director level or equivalent.
Deep understanding of the regulatory environment, risk landscape, and control frameworks in the FS sector.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
CA / ACCA / CISA / CPA / CIA or equivalent professional qualification (highly desirable).
A passion for ethical governance and driving strategic value through audit.
