We are working with a Financial Services company to secure an experienced Accountant or Tax Analyst with Superfund Taxation experience
 
Key Information:
  • Daily Rate: up to $480 per day incl. super
  • Contract Length: until the end of October 2022
  • Extension: unlikely, but possible
  • Location: Perth Preferred
  • WFH & Flexibility: Very flexible – you will need to work in the office to get up to speed but then there is lots of work from home flexibility | you can also set your days / hours around commitments

The role:
This role will see you answering Taxation Queries around Superfunds.
Your Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of superannuation fund tax return and tax provisioning for manager review
  • Preparing responses to clients superannuation tax related queries.
  • Quarterly & Annual ATO Reporting for Investment accounts (covers Annual Investment Income Reporting)
  • Schedule and execute provisioning of client level tax in the superannuation environments including running and reconciling data and tax adjustments
  • Scenario testing of major tax routines within registry systems
  • Schedule and execute ATO Reporting Processes and reconciliations for Super Funds
  • Various Monthly, Quarterly & Annual ATO reporting
 
About You:
To be considered for this role you will possess the following:
  • Degree qualification (essential) with CA/CPA accreditation (highly desirable)
  • Industry experience with Superannuation is highly desirable
  • Minimum 2 years experience in tax accounting or tax technical in a commercial environment or in the financial service industry
  • Ability to work in a changing environment
  • Demonstrated delivery of high quality output
  • Relationship Management ability with internal customers
  • High Customer Service Orientation
  • Negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong Team Player
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within an organisation
Ideally your experience in public practice will span 2 to 3 years. Your attention to detail, high level productivity and ability to work in a deadline driven environment will see you succeed
