We are working with a Banking Institute to secure an experienced Solution Design Lead with Credit Risk & Data Experience
 
Key Information:
  • Annual Salary: $185,000 – 210,000 + super + bonus depending on experience
  • Permanent Leadership Opportunity
  • People Management Involved: Definitely will involve 8 + solution designers | potentially up to 16 Business Analysts as well
  • Location: Open to any location in Australia + Singapore | WFH | Hybrid Set Up – shaped around location of successful candidate

Your Responsibilities:
  • Designing optimal solution to prepare analytically ready data for use in descriptive, predictive and prescriptive analytics.
  • Work with business units to understand credit risk related data elements, including identification of relevant reference data, metadata and data lineage.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within an Agile delivery framework.
  • Analyse source system data and identify any derived measures that are used by business.
  • Development of data definitions, including business rules, physical level data rules, field types, formats, profiling, data sourcing and end usage of the data.
  • Data Publication
  • Source data identification
  • Data Investigation
  • Development, management and support of analytically ready data.
  • The development of analytical data routines for extraction, alignment, transformation and preparation for analytical consumption.
  • Engineering, detailed design and optimisation for data processes that exist in the Analytics Data Layer.
  • Development and enhancement of the Analytics Data Framework by providing thought leadership on how analytics data needs to be managed, delivered and created.
  • The creation and management of automation to schedule data processes and publish analytics
  • Embedding of the Agile culture and delivery methodology into the business for on-going changes.
 
About You –
Your leadership experience:     
You will be an experience Solution Design Lead with Credit Risk and/or Banking Product experience
We are looking for a leader in their space with Exceptional Senior Stakeholder & and People Management experience. This team could range from 8-30 people depending on the management experience you would bring to the role.
 
Competencies:
  • Demonstrate leadership behaviours which encourage productive working relationships and a high performance culture.
  • Develop and mentor technical leads and developers, assisting them to deliver further value and progress their careers
  • Detailed understanding of quantitative analytics, its methodologies and data processes. This role aims to enhance and innovate the data processes that underpin analytical activities.
  • Detailed understanding of credit risk management and the Business and Consumer portfolios, across the Business Group and its underlying systems.
  • Understanding of how Risk fits into the business through knowledge of products, portfolios, originations, account management, marketing and collections functions.
  • Excellent business analysis skills to work through data issues and credit risk data elements.
 
In terms of technical / specialist experience, we need:
  • Must have: Strong Solution Design experience for a large and complex data processing platforms.
  • Must have: Strong experience in a large and complex financial services organisation.
  • Desired: Experience working on Solutions to meet APRA requirements
  • Must have: Experience in projects and/or delivery of business and technology solutions, involving engineering of complex data processes.
  • Must have: 10+ years of Advanced SQL and SAS experience particularly in data manipulation, cleansing using Base SAS, SAS/Macro, SAS DI Studio, SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Management Consle and overall SAS Platform.
