We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Senior Test Analyst to join an organisation within the Banking & Financial Services. This position will be responsible to analyse Business Requirements, Business Processes and key controls to create relevant test cases and execute them to ensure that the solution meets the expected outcome, ensuring all possible defects are identified and mitigated before implementation.
This role will be UAT focused.

Responsibilities include:

  • Analyse Business Requirements, Business Processes and Controls to come up with High Level Test scenarios
  • Assist in creating Test plan(s)
  • Defining UAT requirements including entry and exit criteria
  • Documenting UAT test plan
  • Drafting test scenarios & scripts
  • Create a detailed test cases with expected outcome and organise review sessions with Business stakeholders
  • Map the test cases to key controls
  • Setup HP ALM tool with the test cases and map test cases to the requirements
  • Participate in peer reviews and the quality of test cases and test plans
  • Execute test cases as per the test plan including key controls
  • Report and track defects identified and resolution liaising with Business analysts and business stakeholders
  • Support communicating consistent and accurate testing execution status
  • Interact with Analysts and business representatives to provide feedback on test results
  • Provide inputs to Test Completion Report
  • Input into Traceability matrix for test cases mapping
Skills and Qualifications Needed for the role:

You will demonstrate excellent testing skills along with the ability to build good business relationships with business stakeholders and Busines Analysts as well as:
  • 8+ years in a Senior UAT Analyst role with experinence in Banking desirable
  • Experience using HP ALM tool for testing
  • Past experience within the Risk area
  • Strong experience in testing Business Solution and Processes is essential
  • Good knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and testing process & methodologies
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills - primarily for defect analysis and reporting
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently with minimal supervision; dependable, self-starter, and flexible
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communications skills and interpersonal skills
  • Track record of successful project completion working in a team; team
