The Data Analyst provides data analysis and reporting capabilities across the office. The position has responsibility for assisting with acquiring, cleansing, storing and extracting for analysis and reporting, data collected through the range of functional areas across the office. Highly developed technical skills in data maintenance and analysis, including visualisation and report generation and/or statistical reporting are critical for successfully carrying out the duties of this role.

Key accountabilities
  • Contribute to the design, development and maintenance of data load processes, including liaising with external data providers
  • Maintain a robust data platform and proactively seek and identify potential data quality issues
  • Interpret business requirements and help to facilitate the acquisition, extraction and analysis of data to provide insights for internal and external stakeholders
  • Follow and assist in the development of processes and procedures that control the acquisition, analysis and release of data and reports, including thorough quality assurance reviews (involving subject matters, experts, where appropriate)
  • Interpret reporting and analysis requirements and assist providing relevant data extracts
  • Monitor for, identify, evaluate and remediate data integrity and performance issues with database applications.
  • Follow directions on the development and implementation of processes and systems for the ongoing gathering and analysis of data
  • Develop and maintain a relationship with IT staff and ensure availability, reliable operation and backup of database applications.
