Ethos BeathChapman are proud to be leading the recruitment campaign for a dynamic, multi-national, financial services organisation as they look to appoint a Chief Risk Officer.

About the Role:
As the Chief Risk Officer, you'll be at the forefront of steering the risk management framework, ensuring it seamlessly aligns with the strategic objectives of this multinational organisation, in a period of sustained growth and global expansion. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you'll play a crucial role in overseeing risk strategies, enhancing risk culture, and fortifying risk frameworks across all business segments and geographies.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management strategy and framework in alignment with the organisation's overall goals.
Foster a robust risk culture by guiding the Board in monitoring, measuring, and influencing organizational risk culture.
Provide expert risk advice and support to the CEO and Leadership Teams, promoting proactive risk ownership and embedding risk awareness throughout the organization.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with regulatory authorities and external stakeholders to enhance trust and manage regulatory compliance effectively.

Core Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience leading a risk management function within a financial services organisation.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with a deep understanding of operational processes and business complexities.
  • Previous leadership experience with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory environment and financial services legislation, especially as they apply to an ASIC regulated entity.
  • Tertiary Qualifications, as a minimum a bachelor’s degree in a business or finance related discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in financial services.
